Nathalie Emmanuel

Nathalie Emmanuel, a British actor who is best known for her performance as Missandei (HBO's fantasy show Game of Thrones) from between 2011 and 2019 she was she was a British actress. Born and raised in Southend-on-the-Sea, a seaside resort town located in Essex, Emmanuel was drawn to acting from a young age. She noticed her mother's interest and started enrolling her in dance, singing and acting classes at the age of was only three years old. Emmanuel gained speed as a actor, and by the end of her 90s, she was playing a young Nala on stage in"The Lion King," a West End performance of acclaimed show "The The Lion King." When she turned an teen, Emmanuel began auditioning for parts in television and movies. She was able to land her first big role, when she portrayed Sasha Valentine in the British soap drama Hollyoaks (Channel 4 1995-). Emmanuel performed the role for a period of four years, before quitting Hollyoaks in the year 2010. Emmanuel got her next break three years following that after she was signed in the role of Missandei in the HBO show Game of Thrones. She played the interpreter of Daenerys (played by Emilia Clarke).
